The Rev. Albert ("Kim") R. Dreisbach, Jr., an Episcopal Priest, was the founder and Executive Director of the Atlanta International Center for the Continuing Study of the Shroud of Turin, Inc. (AICCSST). Selected for Marquis Who's Who in Religion, Fr. Dreisbach was the author of numerous papers and lectured many times, as at Turin, St. Stephen's House, Oxford, Bologna, Mount St. Alphonus in Esopus, NY, Emory's Senior University, Atlanta. He has often appeared on national radio and TV. He also served as a panelist with author Ian Wilson and Duke's Dr. Alan Whanger on Vatican Radio following the Bologna International Symposium in 1989. A commentator and technical advisor in a segment devoted to the Shroud on CBS's Mysteries of the Ancient World, he also has functioned in the same capacity for NBC's Unsolved Mysteries, CBN's Behold a Mystery, The Learning Channel's "In Pursuit of the Shroud" and The History Channel's "History's Mysteries." Fr. Dreisbach has traveled extensively in search of new insights regarding the Holy Shroud. Called by one newspaper "'a' man of the cloth who teaches about 'The' Man on the Cloth", Fr. From 1981 to 1987, he managed the TURIN SHROUD EXHIBIT - displayed first at the Peachtree Center and for six years at the Omni International. The site was visited by thousands of conventioneers, foreign guests - including a delegation of Russian Orthodox Archbishops, school children, church groups and a special party led by former President Jimmy Carter and Warren Christopher, who later served as Secretary of State.
